Improving Digital Clarity for a U.S.-Based Anesthesia Department
This project focused on redesigning the website for the Summa–PAS Anesthesia Department, a U.S.-based hospital anesthesia services provider supporting clinicians, patients, and healthcare partners. The existing experience lacked a clear hierarchy, making it difficult for users to quickly access critical information such as clinical protocols, education, and department updates.
UX analysis revealed the need for stronger information architecture and a calmer, more structured interface suited to clinical environments. The redesign prioritized scannability, consistency, and clarity, ensuring complex medical content could be accessed efficiently by different user groups.
The Outcome:
Clinical Clarity: A streamlined content structure that improves access to protocols, education, and updates.
Healthcare-Focused UX: A professional, trustworthy interface aligned with medical usability standards.
Improved Readability: Clear typographic hierarchy and spacing to reduce cognitive load.
Scalable Content Framework: A flexible system supporting ongoing updates without visual clutter.
This project highlights how thoughtful UX/UI design can enhance communication and usability in healthcare settings where precision and trust are essential.
